Today's guitar chord of the day is E minor add9. This guitar chord is in open position and is a simple variation on an open E minor chord. Today we've got two different inversions of the same chord. The first one is my favourite with a nice close interval between the F# on the D string and the open G string, it's also easy to play using just two left hand fingers:
Place your fingers close to the frets and make sure that each note sounds cleanly.
The next fingering is like a regular open E minor chord with with the addition of the second fret on the top E string.

- Emin add9 = E, G, B, F#
This chord is used in lots of songs in the key of Eminor, this chord can be played instead of most Eminor chords to add some extra colour.
